About Lyric

Lyric is my riding school's training horse.  He is 16.3 hands, 8 years old, slightly overweight and very friendly. He is owned by the Bowlings Riding School, in Rudbaxton, Pembrokeshire. I have been working with their fantastic instructors there who have been showing me how to ride Lyric and learn to balance.

Lyric is simply wonderful, he's got a huge personality and can be quite cheeky.

He's also a tad lazy and knows what the instructor will teach me next, so he'll often start to move on to the next bit in an effort to speed my learning up so he can go back the stable and have some hay.

Lyric's the first horse i've really 'known' and has really inspired and encouraged my interest in horses, with an aim to eventually owning one myself.
